PEERS/SACRED Knowledge SharingSACRED is a program run through Peers Victoria and partnered with QomQem Coastal Connections. We are an Indigenous leadership oriented and culturally grounded program. SACRED is rooted in the understanding of colonial and gender-based violence while also being rooted in the importance of family and community. SACRED engages in cultural wellness for healing and building strength. Our outreach team works to connect with and provide information on available resources for sex workers and folks who have experienced sexualized violence and/or gender-based violence.The EventSACRED leaders are inviting Indigenous women and two-spirit persons, their communities of loved ones, cultural leaders, and decision makers to gather and discuss topics of gender-based violence within their communities. This event will be held at Downtown Community Centre 755 Pandora Ave on May 14th from noon - 3 pm. Come and sit with us! Lunch will be provided.
