Overview

Pelch brings his signature blend of heartfelt pop-folk to The Underground for an intimate Toronto night.

Soulful and resonant, Pelch is a talented young singer-songwriter hailing from Canada, whose music captures the essence of seasons and the challenges faced by a burgeoning audience. With a voice that echoes like a canyon, Pelch exudes a rare combination of soul and grit that captivates listeners. Drawing inspiration from acclaimed artists such as Lewis Capaldi, Dermot Kennedy, and Morgan Wallen, Pelch displays an uncommon maturity in his songwriting craft, considering his young age of 26. "I want to reach as many people as possible," Pelch declares with a unique blend of ambition and humility. Pelch's voice serves as an intimate instrument, instilling trust in every listener. Its distinct tone possesses a power that invites both parties into a realm of innocence and vulnerability, where risk-taking, love, unexpected heights, and occasional loss reside.

Pelch’s first standout releases, "Yellow Shirt," captured a yearning that struck a chord with an ever-growing audience. Independently released, the song garnered millions of streams, thanks to an organic and grassroots media campaign driven by word-of-mouth and live performances. Its straightforward yet haunting nature drew inspiration from the loss, and more importantly, the life of a close friend. Pelch, stunned and heartbroken, channeled those emotions into music, instantly resonating with a cultish following of gen-z's he has never met but who wholeheartedly embraced the track.

In March 2022, Pelch independently released his debut EP titled "Looking Around," which has since amassed over 10 million streams. The EP was followed by a series of captivating singles, including "Come Back Now," "Sad Happy Ending," and "Who You Love," all released in early 2023. In December 2023, Pelch released his 2nd EP “That’s How The Story Goes” with the single “Last night” that won the Iheart Radio Future Star in Canada in June 2024.In April 2025, Pelch released his 3rd EP titled “Power of Now,” with diligently crafted songs produced by the US grammy nominated producers TheRunners (Chris Brown, Rhianna, Usher, Keysha Cole, Fat Joe, Nelly, Lil Wayne etc), an ode to a book under the same title that inspired him the most.

As Pelch prepares for an eventful 2025-2026 touring season consisting of over 50 shows across Canada, as well as opening across Quebec and the Maritimes for Jonathan Roy, he has also found himself back in the studio preparing his debut LP for Spring 2026. With each project, Pelch continues to solidify his place in the music industry, captivating audiences with his soul-stirring voice and performances.
