Philosophers' Corner

1/session, 2/session and sometimes 3/session non-credit courses are offered in person or on Zoom.  Courses are 1:30 minutes for Zoom and 1:50 minutes for in person at various times of the week and day. They are offered at various campuses: Surrey, Richmond, Langley and Cloverdale.P﻿hilosophers' Corners are a drop-in discussion group who meet four times per semester at Surrey, Richmond and Langley. There is a small drop-in fee for the Surrey and Richmond locations.A﻿GM's are held once a year in October, alternating between the Surrey and Richmond campuses.C﻿ompelling Conversations are held once a year at alternating campuses. They are presentations on compelling topics, are free and open to the public.

You don't have to be a philosopher to participate in these stimulating sessions. If you enjoy listening to people delve into the topics listed, providing their own and often controversial perspectives, or if you have insights or perspectives to offer, you will enjoy these Philosophers' Corner sessions.
Some sessions will have a featured presenter to introduce the topic and all sessions are moderated to limit discussion to one speaker at a time and to ensure everyone gets a chance to speak.
We hope you will join us and discuss these thought provoking topics where listeners are as welcome as speakers.
A TALK membership is not required, no registration is necessary, there is no cost and sessions are open to the public of all ages.
Admittance will be on a first-come, first-served basis as space permits.
