Do you have a toddler or preschooler who is a picky eater? Are meal times stressful? Do you wish you had evidence-based strategies to encourage them to broaden their diet?

Join Dr. Janine Buisman Wilcox, Naturopathic Doctor, and Shannon Rolph, Occupational Therapist, for this informative online class around picky eating for young children (toddler to 4 years).

During this two-hour workshop you will learn information about:

  • Eating throughout developmental stages
  • Important nutrients and deficiencies
  • Digestive concerns and their impact on eating
  • Sensory contributions to eating habits
  • Strategies to encourage appetite and food repertoire
  • Creating a low stress table experience

You will walk away with tangible strategies you can use immediately to encourage your child to try new foods and to decrease the stress around meal times for your entire family.

Your facilitators:

Dr. Janine Buisman Wilcox, ND works to empower and educate women and families on their journey to health. She understands the challenges that parents face with information overwhelm. She keeps things simple and sustainable for families so they feel comfortable, informed and supported with the health decisions that they make.

Shannon Rolph, OT Reg. (Ont.) has worked across the healthcare continuum and has always had a passion for pediatrics. She uses evidence-based strategies in fun and playful ways to help children develop skills so they can participate in their most meaningful activities. Shannon is a mom of 3 and is mindful of how busy life can be. She values collaboration with families and child-centered play in helping children to see growth and positive change.
