On November 19, ABC Families participated in an engaging Picky Eating Workshop presented by Alberta Health Services. The session focused on helping parents and caregivers understand why children can be selective eaters and provided practical strategies to make mealtimes more positive and less stressful.AHS dietitians discussed:<ul><li>Common reasons behind picky eating and how it is a normal stage of development.</li><li>Tips for introducing new foods and building healthy eating habits over time.</li><li>The importance of creating a relaxed, pressure-free mealtime environment.</li></ul>Families also had the opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences. Supper was provided, allowing participants to enjoy a meal together while learning valuable strategies to support healthy eating at home.
