The Friends of Lower Fort Garry is a non-profit charitable organization, dedicated to supporting Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site through independent and collaborative partnerships while nurturing positive relationships with the community.Our mission is to bring new energy and flavour to one of Canada’s historic treasures. As part of our efforts to promote Canada’s natural and cultural heritage, the Friends of Lower Fort Garry offers a diverse mix of cultural and educational entertainment and activities.

Join us for a jubilant afternoon of songs and sunshine !

Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site

Bring your own blanket or chairs to sit on the lawn of the historic Big House at Lower Fort Garry. Have a sip of wine and nibble on charcuterie, or enjoy a spot of tea and cookies, as you listen to singers from the Manitoba Underground Opera serenade you. You&#x27;ll enjoy operatic and musical theatre hits sung by Katherine Mayba, Karen Santos, and Jean van der Merwe.Tickets are FREE of charge, so this is the perfect way to kick off the summer!!Drinks and Snacks will be available for purchase from the Thirsty Beaver Tavern. All sales will benefit charitable organizations Friends of Lower Fort Garry &amp; Manitoba Underground Opera.
