Join us for a photography workshop and a photo session!

In this event, small businesses will learn different techniques and exercises for product photography using smartphones. A professional photographer will be available on-site. Businesses are encouraged to bring their products and book a time with a photographer for professional photo taking. We can accommodate 4 businesses for 15 min photo shoot with our photographer during this session, first come, first serve- please book your time through Eventbrite registration. A workbook and certificate will be provided to all participants.This event is for any Burlington small businesses served by Digital Main Street (DMS), and/or My Main Street (MMS).

Our Speaker: Ana Nobrega - Digital Service Squad - Burlington EcDev/TechPlace; Ana started her professional journey as a Product Designer and entrepreneur. Her passion for people has always driven her career path, and she has had the opportunity to work in different areas, such as Graphic Design, Architecture, Sales, and Digital Marketing. But Ana’s career changed when she moved to Canada in 2018 to follow her dream of being a Chef. She went to a Culinary School and started a new food business. Since that, she has always used her design and Digital Marketing knowledge to help to grow her business and deliver the best experience for her customers. Passionate about people and trying to move forward, Ana is following a new path as Burlington’s Digital Service Squad Member to connect with small businesses and help them to succeed on digital platforms.

Our Photographer: Kien Tran – Professional Photographer; Kien is a freelance photographer and videographer based out of Burlington. Having received a Creative Photography Motion &amp; Still diploma from Mohawk College back in 2014. He has gone on and collaborated with WildPlay Niagara, Zacada Circus, Muay Thai Canada, City of Burlington, Li Ning Canada, Visit Oakville, and many more. He is passionate about sharing and achieving photo excellence, whether that be through his traveling, personal work, or professional work. Some of his other passions include cats, music, mountains, traveling, and mixed martial arts.
