What is Pilates? Pilates is a full-body physical fitness system originally created in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. You can expect simple yet challenging movements to improve core strength, mobility, posture, and stability. It focuses on simple, intentional movements that support both physical and mental wellness.
Classes are provided through The Cross Sea Academy and Robyn Breen, an experienced educator with over 18 years of teaching movement, and certified student teachers, offering thoughtful, accessible classes each week. Student teachers for the series hold a Foundation certification and are completing their Fundamentals. Their approach is grounded in safety, anatomy, and breath work, offering a meaningful experience for all participants.
