ABOUT JACQUIE COSTRON:

Jacquie Costron is a long-time Kingston business and life strategist who is currently drawing on her 25+ years in finance to help small businesses navigate the COVID-19 response benefit programs made available by all levels of government.

Her goal is to help local business owners strategize how to help their business survive -- and even thrive -- during this crisis.

Jacquie is passionate about helping entrepreneurs develop a game plan so their business can: pivot in the current environment; prepare for the next step in our physical distancing and essential service realities; and prosper as we move into a new "normal".

ABOUT RHONDA NEULANDER, CPA, CGA, RHONDA NEULANDER & COMPANY

Rhonda Neulander, CPA, CGA received her designation in 1992 in Alberta. She has been in public practice for most of her career dealing in a large number of industries from construction to restaurants to Not-for-Profits. She began practicing in Kingston in 2010. Rhonda’s practise, R.E. Neulander & Company focuses on automated bookkeeping services, and personal and corporate taxation.

ABOUT THE WE-CAN PROJECT:

The WE-CAN Project is led by Queen’s University and supported by the Government of Canada. Its mission is to inspire and empower existing and aspiring women entrepreneurs by providing them with tools, resources, expert mentors, networks and community building to expand existing businesses and to launch new ventures.

The Government of Canada, through FedDev Ontario’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Strategy (WES) Ecosystem Fund is providing $3.2 million for Queen’s University to design and deliver programs and services to accelerate, train, mentor and provide resources to women entrepreneurs and women-led companies in the community.

The focus of the WES strategy is to provide support to women entrepreneurs from diverse and underrepresented groups.
