Description
“It takes a community to care for…” a family postpartum!
Join us for a unique workshop that will focus on preparing for life AFTER baby arrives! We spend so much time getting ready for the big day and arrival of our babies, but how much time do we really focus on what life will be like once baby is here?!
In this interactive workshop, led by three Doulas and a Naturopathic Doctor, we will be covering topics such as:
-
What it means to co-parent
-
Self-Compassion
-
Finding yourself - addressing changes in identity
-
Normal range of fussiness/fatigue in baby/parents + signs to look out for
-
Posptartum mood disorders (and how other cultures work to prevent them!)
Led by:
Erin Margetts Helkaa, Doula
Jes Smith, Doula
Dara Mussar, Doula
Janine Buisman Wilcox, Naturopathic Doctor
**Ticket includes up to one support person**
***Introductory pricing of $30 (plus taxes and fees) will only apply to the first class on May 30th. Please use the discount code "FirstClass" if you register for this date.***
REFUND POLICY: While we understand that life events come up (and babies have their own agendas!), we do not refund tickets within 48 hours of the event as we need adequate time to fill the seats. If you do end up missing the workshop, we are always happy to schedule a 15 minute meet and greet where we provide your resource package and briefly walk through what we cover within the class. We are also happy to put your registration money towards a private session with one of our facilitators. The private sessions cost $80 and are 1 hour in length.
