Who is this class for?

Powwow Practice is for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit people who want to learn and connect through powwow dancing in a welcoming, supportive environment. It’s a space centered on Indigenous participants, culture, and community.

Can youth participate?

Yes — youth are welcome to join but must attend with an adult. This ensures everyone can participate safely and respectfully while learning together.

What should I bring or wear?

Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in, clean shoes or moccasins, and bring a water bottle.

Do I need to register, or can I just drop in?

Accepted Answer

Registration is highly encouraged to secure your spot. Walk-ins are welcome if there is space available, but all participants must complete a waiver before joining the class.
