Pre-Application Testing (APCAT) - Etobicoke ON
Considering a career as a police officer in YYC? Potential applicants are invited to complete the first step by completing the APCAT.
Are you considering a career as a police officer in Calgary? Participate in the first step in the application process by completing pre-application testing for the Alberta Police Cognitive Abilities Test (APCAT).
The APCAT is a mandatory, job-related written examination. This exam is a provincial standard; results are valid for five years and transferrable to all municipal police agencies in Alberta. Please note this is considered an official attempt at the test and not a practice or workshop.
The APCAT consists of 120 multiple choice questions and applicants must achieve a score of 70 per cent to pass. The exam is approximately three hours in duration.

An application is not a pre-requisite to writing this sitting of the APCAT exam, and the information you provide to attend is not considered an application. A passed APCAT is required to submit a formal application.

This event will be taking place in the Great Room located at the Residence Inn Toronto Airport. Ensure you bring your conformation email with you for entry. Arrive by 5:15PM as late arrivals cannot be accommodated. On-site parking is available for a fee.
