Leaders come in many forms. Atlantic School of Theology helps lifelong learners, post-graduate students, those seeking church vocations, and many others reach their educational goals. AST balances practical skill development with the pursuit of scholarly wisdom.AST is located in the heart of the  south end of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Our peaceful grounds are highly conducive to study. This course will focus on the development of capacities to interpret texts and contexts and to proclaim the gospel in multiple ways.

This course will focus on the development of capacities to interpret texts and contexts and to proclaim the gospel in multiple ways. Attention will be given to the interpretation of biblical texts, a variety of cultural texts, and the various contexts in which our faith communities find themselves embedded. Students will gain understanding in the nature of the gospel message and challenges and opportunities that exist for proclaiming that message in contemporary contexts.About the Instructor: The Rev. Dr. Kimberlynn McNabb obtained her BA in Religion and Culture from Wilfred Laurier University, her MDiv from Waterloo Lutheran Seminary, and her DMin from Acadia Divinity College. She is the pastor the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Halifax.Dates: weekdays Monday, July 17th - Friday, July 28thDays &amp; Times: 9:15am - 12:15pm unless otherwise noted.Requirements: Readings and discussions.
