Build clear Prevention work plans and realistic budgets that align staffing, operations, programming, and measurable outcomes.

For Directors, Managers, Supervisors, and staff responsible for Prevention programs in First Nations communities, and professionals across the non-profit sector — managing budgets and work plans can feel overwhelming. This workshop breaks complex Prevention budgets into manageable components and connects strategic planning to day-to-day implementation. Participants will leave with practical tools to build realistic annual budgets, align goals with resources, and strengthen accountability

Course Objectives

  • Analyze and balance budget components to ensure funding supports program priorities
  • Build a realistic annual budget that reflects actual program needs
  • Align strategic work plans with available resources and timelines
  • Develop a clear roadmap linking goals, activities, responsibilities, and evaluation

Note: Participants are required to bring their own laptop to fully participate in the hands-on activities. All other materials will be provided.
