Project Management Ignition Lab
Overview
OVERVIEW
This isn’t your typical project management course.
“I’ve had project management training before, but this one stands out significantly to me.” – past participant
Organizational projects rarely follow a clean checklist. They involve busy teams, shifting priorities, limited budgets, and real people. That’s why this full-day, hands-on learning lab is designed for new and emerging leaders who’ve been handed a project or initiative and need practical tools, not theory, to move forward.
Whether you’re starting a new initiative or trying to rescue a messy one midstream, this session will give you the structure, mindset, and momentum to move forward, confidently. Throughout the day, we'll use healthcare-specific examples and case studies to bring each concept to life.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:
- Lead with clarity—Define your project scope, purpose, and stakeholders with tools like the Project Charter
- Stay on track—Avoid common pitfalls like scope creep, rushed timelines, unclear ownership, and disengaged teams
- Engage others effectively—Use real-world healthcare-specific approaches to align people, get decisions made, and drive execution
- Build sustainability—Make sure your project survives the launch and sticks in operations long after it's “done”
You’ll walk away with:
- A complete Project Management Toolkit
- Templates, examples, and scripts you can use right away
- Tools and confidence to lead every stage, from kick-off to wrap-up
- A renewed sense of control, clarity, and momentum.
This course is for you if…
- You’ve been asked to lead a project without formal training
- You’re mid-project and feel stuck, unclear, or overwhelmed
- You’re ready to build your leadership skills and deliver real progress.
Every participant to date has rated the session “excellent” and “extremely useful for professional development.”
Let’s turn project chaos into clarity.
