Format
The convention will kick off with a Designer Panel featuring Canadian tabletop designers on Friday evening.
Each designer will get four 1.5 hour playtesting time slots on Saturday and Sunday: 1 session in the first half of each day and 1 session in the second half of each day. Designers can schedule their sessions back to back if they prefer to have a full 3 hour block of testing each day.
Designers can choose to test the same game on both days or test out as many different prototypes as they like. Designers will need to submit information for all of the games they plan on testing during their time slots before the event (so we can add it to the website, and include in handouts the day of). We will email designers closer to the event for game info.
Any games that aren't registered can be tested out during Open Gaming on Friday and Saturday nights.

Development stage of prototypes
ProtoTO is about designers testing out their prototypes, and not demoing final products. Please only present games that you want feedback for.
Prototyping space and materials
Desks will be available throughout the space that designers can use to work on their prototypes. The Game Crafter and Print & Play will provide prototyping supplies including various sizes of blank cards and chipboard components. ProtoTO organizers will also provide paper cutters, corner punches, cutting mats, Xacto knives, glue and scissors, among other supplies. If more items are needed, there is a Dollarama at Bloor and Dundas.
Games
Designers will be emailed closer to the event for game details.
