Instructor: Cheryl Topping, Certified Arborist
Working with plants and in the garden has been one of my great passions for most of my life. I was fortunate enough to grow up on a small farm in Ontario, and, since my move to the West Coast in 1990, I have continued to pursue gardening as an avocation and now as a career. I have completed coursework in arboriculture at Kwantlen Polytechnic, and I am certified with the International Society of Arborists. As a teacher for 17 years, both in Vancouver and on the Sunshine Coast, I have developed skills and enthusiasm that I now apply in my new profession. I love to work with people, to help them develop and refine their gardening skills, and to help to transform the look and feel of garden spaces.
