Was there ever any doubt that we would be back?
The PTBO Game Jam 03 is taking over Peterborough, Ontario this summer, August 4th-6th, 2017 returning to the Kawartha Trades & Technology Centre.
 
<H3>Youth Educational Block</H3>
August 4th, 2017 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Are you interested in making games? Or know someone that might be? With a special focus on introducing youth to making games with free toolsets geared directly to them, we will be demonstrating how to use MIT’s <A HREF="https://scratch.mit.edu/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Scratch" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Scratch</A> to create a simple game mechanic, and show how it can be easily changed and added onto to create unique and fun gameplay.
This block is meant for children under 16. They must be accompanied by a parent or guardian - that means multiple tickets! No hardware required, just bring your lovely selves.
 
<H3>Adult Educational Block</H3>
August 4th, 2017 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Want to try your hand at making a game, but don’t know where to start? We got your back! Our Adult Education Block geared towards giving you that extra little kick to get started. We will demonstrate the usage of industry toolsets in creating a quick simple game that can be expanded on.
This block is geared towards adults, while we are not going turn away children under 16, they must be accompanied by an adult. No hardware required.
 
<H3>PTBO Game Jam O3 Block</H3>
August 5th, 2017 8:00 AM - August 6th, 2017 7:00 PM
This is the real deal here, you are making a game. There will be pressure, there will be pizza, and there will be awesomeness. The timer starts Saturday 9AM, with 32-hours to design and create a masterpiece on your own, or as a team. When the ball drops on Sunday at 5PM, you will be tired, but you will be happy.

<H2 CLASS="MsoNormal">Ticketing - You talked and we LISTENED!</H2>
Our last event's ticketing was a bit confusing and nowhere near the awesomeness that it should have been. So, we revamped how we are handling registration. 
If you want to go to an educational section, you sign up for a ticket for it. If you want to participate in PTBO Game Jam 03, you sign up for a ticket for it as well. Simple enough?
A ticket per person, per block.
If you plan on bringing additonal people they need to have tickets as well, this helps us get our sponsors numbers for goodies.
