We are conducting a two-year process to create a comprehensive Broadway area plan. Through the process, there will be ongoing opportunities to share your thoughts.The 30-year plan will focus on opportunities to integrate new housing, jobs, and amenities around the new Broadway Subway.The Broadway Plan area (from Clark Dr to Vine St) is a diverse employment and residential mix that includes established neighbourhoods such as Kitsilano, Fairview, Mt. <h3>Broadway Plan</h3><p>In March 2019, the City of Vancouver launched multi-phase planning process to create a comprehensive Broadway Plan to integrate opportunities for new housing, jobs and amenities around the new Broadway Subway. The plan will guide future growth, change and public benefits within the Broadway Plan study area.</p><h3></h3><h3>Refined Directions</h3><p>This phase of engagement focuses on the Broadway Plan’s Refined Directions. During this upcoming phase, you’ll get to review various 3D elements of the plan and area-wide policies. The various topics that will be covered will include land use, built form, a draft public realm framework, housing and job estimates, housing, transportation, public benefits arts and culture, and community well-being.</p><h3></h3><h3>Join us for our virtual Public Life Workshop</h3><p>Help shape the future public life in Kitsilano, Fairview and Mount Pleasant by being part of the Broadway Plan Public Life Workshop on November 24, where you can learn about the draft public realm framework, and transportation policies.
