Where will the masterclasses take place?

All masterclasses will take place at Allard Hall on the MacEwan University campus.

Who can sign up for the masterclasses?

Anyone! If you are a professional performer, emerging artist, a student, a community theatre participant, or anyone who is interested in expanding their voice and knowledge of Musical Theatre, and Commercial Contemporary Music (CCM), these masterclasses are for you!

Question 3

Is there a fee?

Accepted Answer

Yes! To participate in a masterclass, there is a fee of $50/masterclass, $90/2 masterclasses, or  $120/ 3 masterclasses.

Can I participate and/or watch more than one masterclass?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We have pricing breakdowns for participation in multiple masterclasses. If you participate in more than one, you can save money on registration.

Question 5

How are singers chosen for the masterclasses?

Sign ups for the masterclasses are on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for the masterclasses will open April 10th. Spots are limited, so make sure you sign up early!

What should I prepare for the masterclass?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the style of masterclass (Musical theatre, or Popular music) we asked you to bring in a 90sec-2:00 min cut of a song from the specific genre. There will be a pianist available at every masterclass.

Is there parking?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Allard Hall has a paid underground parking lot that can be accessed on the North side of the building, along with an above-ground paid parking lot
