We're taking this show on the road! Because the weather has been so stunning, we're pulling out our picnic blanket under a shady tree at Gibbons Park for this Punch Needle workshop! (Find us near the tree line between the parking lot and the playground/splashpad!)Punch needle is a creative embroidery technique that both beginners and experienced crafters love to do, and it’s easy to get started! Once you learn the basic technique, you can make all sorts of projects, including wall hangings, pillows, and rugs, and with some sewing skills, tons more! In this class, you'll be provided everything needed to leave with your first completed project! If you enjoy this project and want to continue your creative journey, we have something special for you! At Hello Maker, we offer DIY punch needle kits for purchase, and as a workshop participant, you can get yours at a 50% discount for only $10+HST. These kits come with everything you need to create your own unique punch needle project at home, including an embroidery hoop, yarn, monk's cloth, and a punch needle tool. With your newly acquired skills and materials, you can continue to express your creativity and create beautiful pieces that reflect your unique style!Hello Maker is proud to offer a warm and inclusive environment for our workshop participants. If you have any accessibility requirement, please let us know ahead of time! In case of rain, we will hold the workshop the same time and date at our downtown studio instead!
