Coder Sports award-winning Game Programming courses for ages 8+ provide the perfect way to learn Python programming with real world developer tools such as the IDLE text editor. This course is perfect for students who would like to take their Game Programming skills to the next level!This five week program is extremely challenging and intended for children with excellent grades who are tracking to an academic pre-university level. Attend this exciting five week Python Coding for Kids class and jump start your computer science skills to a new level. Kids ages 8+ may attend based on an initial intake assessment. A background with block programming in Scratch is a minimum requirement. Student with some exposure to text based coding in Java, Javascript, Lua, etc will excel in our hands on, Python for Game Development course. Students will learn functions, loops, collision detection, game logic and more! Work closely with our STEM University educated Coder Coaches with real software engineering and computer science experience.
