Event description
We are holding a public engagement so that we can: inform you of our latest plans for Quayside, listen to your views and get you involved.

About this Event

Three years ago, we set out to create an ambitious plan for a next-generation sustainable community at Quayside. While we now find ourselves in a very different world than when we began, Quayside remains an important opportunity to provide greater housing affordability, climate sustainability, public transit connections along the water’s edge, high-quality jobs and new economic opportunity.

Waterfront Toronto is holding a public engagement throughout October so that we can: inform the public on our latest plans for Quayside, listen to your views and get you involved. We are looking for feedback on our updated goals—inclusive, resilient and dynamic—to ensure that Quayside reflects what matters most to you about where you live, work and play.

Have questions?

Sign-up for one of our three informal interactive sessions with members of our project team to ask any specific questions you have about our latest plans for Quayside.

  • Thursday, October 15 from 5:00p.m.-6:00p.m.
  • Friday, October 16 from 12:00p.m.-1:00p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 21 from 6:30-7:30p.m.

Participants will be emailed a link to the meeting, as well as a guide on how to participate, 24 hours in advance of the event.

We also encourage you to:

Stay informed: Watch this video (9 minutes) and read this backgrounder to learn more about the project goals.

Get Involved: Take our short survey and share your opinion. The survey will be open until October 23.

The feedback we receive through this engagement will be compiled and included in a public report that will be released in November 2020 on
