Queer, Trans, Nonbinary Moves Class by GoodBodyFeel (2SLGBTQ+ only)Monday, March 29th from 12-1PM:Movement and meditation class for slowing down, tuning in, and grounding. Expect a full body movement sequence with special attention given to the neck, shoulders, wrists, and hips. Cultivate a stronger connection with your body and intuition in this beginner-friendly class. When we live in a world where our bodies are often politicized, it is normal for us to have complex relationships with our bodies. Let's remind ourselves that it is safe to just be. Let us remind ourselves that it is safe to just move. Through softness and strength, let's show gratitude to our human vessels for carrying us forward every day. Facilitator: Bio:Rucha {she/they} 29 years old grew up in Hamilton. She is a first generation Canadian to immigrant parents from India. Queer. Writer. Artist. Movement and Meditation Guide, Teacher Trainee and Content Manager at GoodBodyFeel. With a degree in Popular Culture from Brock University, she is enthusiastic about storytelling as a catalyst for sharing ideas, experiences, and resources. Rucha is curious about exploring how shifts in language transform everyday practices. She strives to educate myself in holding safer spaces with marginalized communities in mind. And Rucha is passionate about decolonizing social interactions, starting with reflecting on our understanding of our relationships with our own bodies and then those we interact with. This event is open to 2S&amp;LGBTQ+ folks only. Organized by Brock Human Rights &amp; Equity and the Brock Student Justice Centre and funded by the President’s Advisory Committee on Human Rights, Equity, and Decolonization (PACHRED) 2S&amp;LGBTQ+Working Group.
