Overview

Entrepreneurs will learn QuickBooks Levels 1 &2, along with Sales Tax and a Payroll Module.

This interactive online workshop introduces participants to the core features of QuickBooks Online (QBO), including setting up company files, managing invoices and expenses, tracking sales, sales tax, payroll and generating period end financial reports. Designed for beginners and small business owners, the session focuses on practical, real‑world bookkeeping skills that can be applied immediately.

To participate effectively, attendees must have a laptop or Mac and a reliable internet connection, as the class includes hands‑on exercises and live instruction.

Please note: This is a TWO DAY EVENT, that also takes place on Friday, May 22 from 9:30-3:30.

Dr. Sheena Solomon is an accomplished instructor with a strong specialization in accounting and financial/administrative software. She holds a doctorate in Physics from the University of Bremen in Germany, where she also began her early career working in scientific research across Europe.

In 2009, Dr. Solomon moved to Canada to serve as a Visiting Scientist with Environment Canada and the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), contributing to environmental research initiatives and collaborative academic projects.

Driven by a passion for teaching and a commitment to empowering young entrepreneurs, Dr. Solomon cofounded Diamond Learning with her husband. Their vision was to provide highquality professional software training and consulting services across Western Canada.

Today, Diamond Learning has grown into a trusted training provider, offering instruction to a diverse range of clients—including Saskatchewan businesses, government organizations, and First Nation communities. Dr. Solomon continues to be recognized for her engaging teaching style, deep technical expertise, and dedication to supporting professional growth across the region.
