The Toronto Workers' Theatre Group (part of the Toronto Workers' History Project) presents RADICAL HOUSEWIVES , a play about the struggles of Toronto housewives in the 1930s and 1940s for lower food prices under the banner of the Toronto Housewives' Consumer Association and about the weight of the Cold War that brought them down. An inspiring fight for social justice with great relevance for today. Based on the book of the same name by Julie Guard.

Audience members will be expected to be fully vaccinated and will be required to wear masks. Actors will ne unmasked, including at times among the audience, but will maintain social distance.
