In this introductory workshop, you will learn basic cross-stitch skills, techniques and tips. You will be guided through a simple rainbow pattern and learn how to turn your project into a pin or magnet.
All supplies included in a "Rainbow X-Stitch Kit" will be provided including: cross-stitch pattern, Aida cloth, a needle, embroidery thread, fusible fleece and pin/magnet for backing.

Intro to Cross-Stitch
The workshop will begin with an introduction to materials and basic cross-stitch techniques. Students will practice cross-stitching on a small swatch of cloth so that they can start to feel comfortable with the techniques learned.

Rainbow Pattern
Students will be guided step-by-step through a rainbow pattern. In the end, they'll choose whether to finish their rainbow as a pin or a magnet!
