Red Press Society (RPS) is a non-profit organization cultivating the cultural community in the Fraser Valley. Formed in 2016 and made up of writers, artists, and musicians, it is important to the society that local creators have opportunities to present their work.For the time being,Raspberry magazineis the primary beneficiary of all donations to RPS, meaning your support contributes to our goals:Print distribution in the communityHosting eventsPromotion of artists (visual art, theatre, creative writing, dance, music, etc.)Honoraria for artists we showcaseOperational costs including paying our writers, editors, photographers, and other currently unpaid staff.We require funding in these areas so we can provide a free, high-quality arts and culture publication to the communities of the Fraser Valley.

<H2>Celebrating local arts and culture in the Fraser Valley</H2>
Join us March 4 at 7 p.m. at The Reach Gallery in Abbotsford for Raspberry magazine’s first annual fundraising gala, Raiseberry. 
Raiseberry aims to highlight the area’s music, food, visual art, and other creative scenes. From a local lineup of musicians, to a video game demo by new developers, Raiseberry taps into the rich creativity currently blossoming throughout these communities. It will also feature a live painting session and a selection of poetry by local writers. 
<H3>Culture you can touch</H3>
<A HREF="http://www.raspberrymag.ca" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Raspberry</A> magazine is a new source for the latest in Fraser Valley art, culture, and community life. It was established in June 2016 by a few artsy editors wanting to shine a spotlight on what’s happening in the Fraser Valley with a culture-focused gaze. We want to dig our fingers into the rich cultural earth right here in the Valley. 
All funds raised at the event contribute to the goal of bringing Raspberry magazine to print. Currently we publish our magazine online, but we want to bring you a print magazine in the future. We want you to be able to find culture wherever you are, while saving you data and giving you a screen break.
As a project of Red Press non-profit society, Raspberry publishes reviews, event coverage, interviews, and feature articles on what shapes the everyday life and cultural experience of Valley residents. We also publish <A HREF="http://www.raspberrymag.ca/category/fresharts/art/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">original art</A> and <A HREF="http://www.raspberrymag.ca/category/fresharts/fiction/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">writing</A> each month by local established and emerging creators.
