Overview
Reading Buddies pairs kids in Grades K–3 with older mentors to boost reading fluency, confidence, and joy through guided practice.

WBPL Membership is required. Please register each adult participant separately with their library card number.
Reading Buddies is a literacy program for children in Grades K–3 to build reading skills and confidence through mentorship with an older student. Whether they are beginning, emerging, or skilled readers, children benefit from reading practice with a positive role model, improving fluency in a patient, supportive setting.
