Reppin' Brampton - Technology

Brampton’s Multicultural Youth Council is a youth-run organization striving to unite the community in order to celebrate our diversity and, in the process, help make a difference. BMYC hopes to educate the public on the ethical issues that concern youth today and help bridge the cultural gap between generations.Mission Statement: Providing a platform for youth to understand and discuss culture in a way that is relevant to the issues around them.Vision: Brampton Youth have the cultural awareness to be actively involved in the conversations addressing the social issues that impact our society.The purpose of BMYC encompasses two major components. The council hopes to increase awareness regarding one’s cultural background and to form a deeper understanding of the diversity that exists around us. The council works to achieve and facilitate its mission through awareness campaigns, fundraisers, social media, community events and more! Brampton Multicultural Youth Council

Reppin’ Brampton is a workshop series dedicated to helping youth in Brampton learn about the way different topics impact the world around us. This workshop is called: “Reppin Brampton: Technology”, focusing on technology and how it will impact the future specifically.
We will be having 3 amazing panelists that specialize in the technological fields and are excited to share their story! Along with the seminar, we will be holding a pitch-off, where students get to creatively come up with a solution in groups to a given scenario, then judged by our panelists.
Students will be getting volunteering hours, and potential winners will be receiving awards and monetary prizes.
Refreshments will be provided.
