Lobe's Research and Listening Program | Featuring the works of cross-disciplinary artists Camille Roth, Gemma Crowe, and Whitney Brennan.

The 3 pieces in this program demonstrate the application of spatial sound as a research tool and the possibilities it opens for sensory, and extrasensory, experience. This program combines environmental and somatic listening practices with 4DSOUND technology creating an opportunity for us to collectively engage in these ways of hearing and consider, together, the acoustic worlds they render. Featuring the works of 3 past <a href="https://lobestudio.ca/artist-creation" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Artists in Residence</a> at Lobe: <a href="https://lobestudio.ca/camille-roth" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Camille Roth</a>, <a href="https://lobestudio.ca/gemma-crowe" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Gemma Crowe</a>, and <a href="https://lobestudio.ca/whitney-brennan" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Whitney Brennan</a>. Their pieces will be played in succession with breaks in between. These projects are best experienced with some understanding of their intention and the context of their creation.
