Riding The Wave 2026

Riding The Wave is one of Manitoba's largest annual education technology conferences and it's brought to you by MAETL, ManACE and MERLIN.

Our 2026 Riding The Wave conference is returning to Gimli's Lakeview Resort on May 7th & 8th and we're celebrating our 32nd year of bringing folks to the shores of Lake Winnipeg to connect and share about creative and innovative applications of technology in their classrooms & schools!

Our Keynote Speaker, Daphne McMenemy, will set the stage with a Thursday morning keynote for all attendees, then participants will have the opportunity to tailor their learning Thursday & Friday by choosing the breakout sessions or workshops most suited to their needs & interests.

The full slate of breakout sessions will be available early March, at which time all registered participants will be invited to pre-register for the breakout sessions they'd like to attend :-)

This year's conference theme is 'Level Up Learning' ... you'll be inspired to reflect on opportunities to nurture the global competencies within your students and weave elements of STEAM education into your classrooms and schools!

Please note:

* Manitoba school divisions will have the ability to reserve a limited number of registrations for attendees within their organizations prior to Friday, March 27th. This will allow you or your staff to register up front without paying in advance and your organization will be invoiced for your total registrations following the conference.
