This August 2024 marks the 4th year of celebrating Emancipation Month in Ontario, and the 3rd Annual Afraspektion celebration. The Oddside Arts and Riverside Business Improvement Area (BIA) invite everyone to continue the carnival weekend festivities at our family-friendly festival, Afraspektion. Join us for a memorable opening ceremony, followed by a day filled with festival fun and free entertainment for all ages (live music, games, face painting, dancing and more!), and local market with vendors from the  Afrodisapora.

The 3rd Annual Dog Lovers Market returns! This year it's happening in Riverside Common AND Joel Weeks Park!! Join a paw-some event hosted by Toronto Dog Moms, Riverside BIA, Dirty Pawz Dog Wash, Tom and Sawyer, Sparky's Comrade and others! Treat your furry friends, enjoy live music, meet and greet with a local dog trainer, explore local pet vendors, make new friends and much more!

Join us for spooky Halloween fun:  At Riverside Common (657 Queen E) free facepainting by Merlin and Laura (10am-3pm); treats from local businesses;  free pumpkins and decorating (10am until quantities last!); live music; Kiddie Costume Parade and contest; and our Halloween-themed local vendor market; Hop on over to Joel Weeks Park for Riverside "HOWL-O'WEEN" for the pets: treats, costume parade, and local Halloween vendors!
