Road to Care is a registered Canadian charity that enables women with cervical cancer in Uganda to access curative radiotherapy treatment.
Patients are currently housed in a radiotherapy lodge located 1km away from the Uganda Cancer Institute. The current Road to Care lodge can house 18 patients at a time comfortably. However, due to an increase in the number of patients seeking treatment over the past years, there are now consistently 22 - 24 patients that require lodging at a time.
Road to Care is currently fundraising to open a second radiotherapy lodge in Uganda. Come join the effort by attending this fundraiser!
