A 120-foot mud pit obstacle course with your best friend! Run like you stole something and always believe you can get muddier!! This is Calgary’s MUD RUN – RUFF MUD!
STEPS:
<OL>
<LI>Must have a dog to compete with</LI>
<LI>Get as muddy as possible!</LI>
<LI>Fastest time will wins glory, bragging rights and some amazing prizes!</LI>
</OL>
OBSTACLES: (not necessarily in this order)
<OL>
<LI>Hay Bale Jump - Each team must jump over the Hay Bale fence to get the race started</LI>
<LI>Mud crawl – Get down on your hands and knees under the mesh canopy in the mud pit and CRAWL</LI>
<LI>Walk the Plank – Test your balance while you walk across the Muddy Plank to the dog wash</LI>
<LI>The Dog Wash – Water noodles and a whole lot of fun get through the Soggy Gauntlet and take the plunge</LI>
<LI>Poll Dancer – Weave left, now right you don’t have to turn on the red light… but being limber is an advantage</LI>
<LI>Ring Of Fire – Leap through the Burning Ring Of Fire (JK its just orange not really burning)and move onto the final muddy challenge</LI>
<LI>The Ball Pit – Plunge into the massive muddy ball pit and hit the finish line Like A BOSS</LI>
</OL>
RULES:
<OL>
<LI>Your dog must always remain on a maximum of a 6 ft leash throughout the race.</LI>
<LI>If your dog is not good in crowds or with other dogs, please do not enter RUFF MUD!</LI>
<LI>Abuse, force or pulling your dog through the race will result in an automatic disqualification with no refund. </LI>
<LI>Dogs cannot be picked up (unless in distress)</LI>
<LI>The maximum time allocated per run is 5 minutes. </LI>
<LI>Your dog must be physically fit enough to run this course with no known health conditions, that would put them at risk of injury.</LI>
<LI>No known health conditions</LI>
<LI>A waiver must be signed on race day without any exceptions.</LI>
</OL>
