SAD Seance: A Writing Workshop
Tuesday October 11th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm
This 2-hour writing workshop is open to all abilities (and all aspiring literary witches).
There are only 20 spaces available, so set your intention and register.
Set within a hidden gallery in the VAG, the SAD Seance invites you to partake in a radically unique literary ritual accessible to all. Workshop facilitator Adèle Barclay will lead participants through conversation, reading, and recitation inspired by the collective creativity of the room. Surround yourself with new art by Scott Bertram and sip on sweet libations from Mission Hill while you compose your own works.
Participants are invited to bring a poem or paragraph by a writer they admire, a question, or an object. Ticket prices vary; please select the option you can afford and contact us if tickets in your price range sell out.
**20 participants maximum**
Participants will be invited to share their spells at a reading on Oct. 16th in the Literary Lounge of the Vancouver Art/Book Fair.
**LOCATION: The Seance is taking place in the Vancouver Art Rental & Sales Gallery located on the main floor annex of the Vancouver Art Gallery. See Reception for access.
