Your ticket purchasing process is confusing.  How do I do this?

Apologies for any confusion.  We are trying to minimize processing fees so  that is why we chose this pricing structure.  The minimum ticket price is $35.  You can enter any amount in the "PWYC" fill-in portion.  If you would like a terrarium provided, please see below.

How do I buy tickets for more than 1 person?

Accepted Answer

If you're buying tickets for more than 1 person, fill a PWYC box for each ticket you'd like. (e.g. 6 tickets for 6 people, enter the the amount you want to pay 6 times separately in 6 of the PWYC boxes)

Do I have to bring my own terrarium and supplies?

Accepted Answer

BYOT - Bring Your Own Terrarium. This can be an old CLEAR jar, vase or anything that's not too big or small. It should be taller than it is wide. If you cannot find one, please see question below. We will supply everything else (plants, planting materials, tools etc..)!

How do I add a terrarium to my ticket?

If you want to have a terrarium provided,  please select "ADD Terrarium..." at the very bottom of listed options.

Question 5

What else should I bring?

Accepted Answer

In addition to BYOT, you should bring your own  bag(s) and packaging so your terrarium doesn't break on your journey to and from the venue.  We recommend you have another bag to store heavier hardscape objects like stones and rocks to prevent breaking the glass on your way home.

Can I refund my ticket?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not accept refunds as the workshop is already priced very low to ensure access to all income levels.

Question 7

What's the aftercare for the paludariums?

Accepted Answer

We want you to have success with the paludariums you create, whether it's your first or your last!  We will provide care info on maintaining your creations. Feel free to reach out to us if there are particular issues we didn't address.  We also would love to see how  grown-in your creations become!

I'm neither LGBTQ nor BIPOC.  Can I still join?

We have increased seating capacity at this venue so all folks should be able to participate.

We are a small collective of plant-nature-loving, community-minded, BIPOC LGBTQ+ members and we are more than happy to accept donations  (monetary, plants, materials, etc.) to support our fledgling venture.  Please reach out to us if you or know someone who would like to contribute more!

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

No, unfortunately.  There is a set of stairs leading to the door of venue.  Please reach out to us and we will try our best to accommodate. We are looking for other accessible venues  and are open to suggestions for future workshops.
