Beginner-friendly introduction to SAP2000 covering basic modeling, analysis, and result interpretation in a guided session.

This beginner-friendly workshop will take place in the EPH 230A computer lab and introduces the fundamentals of SAP2000, a structural analysis and design software widely used in civil and structural engineering. The session will cover basic navigation, model setup, defining materials and sections, applying loads, running analyses, and interpreting results.

No prior experience with SAP2000 is required. This workshop is ideal for students looking to build a strong foundation and gain confidence using the software for coursework, design teams, or future internships.
