By now you have spent many days (and nights!) in the lab to finish your project. Your experiments are spot on and the error bars are tight. You know that the next step is to publish the story and apply for more funding to build upon these findings. 
 But you are struggling with scientific writing. There is too much to write about and while it is all crystal clear in your head, you can’t put your thoughts into words.   In this workshop, you will learn to effectively communicate your research findings to maximize the success of your project. The focus will be on structuring your findings, drafting an outline, crafting clear and concise writing, and avoiding common pitfalls. 
This workshop will be conducted by Dr. Aisha Shamas-Din. Aisha has more than 6 years of experience in scientific writing and content creation in academia and business. She works one-on-one with researchers and writes and edits scientific manuscripts and grants, and creates digital content for industry, hospitals, and small-businesses. Aisha holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Health Sciences from McMaster University.
