The overall theme of The Academy concert series is to offer a multi-disciplinary showcase of music, art, and dance with an overall “hip hop & soul” approach, incorporating sights and sounds that are less your mainstream format and more a representation of cutting edge arts and culture which has been able to flourish in cities like Toronto (where we...'re at). With an abundance of new developing artists in the grassroots community in Toronto, across Canada, and around the globe, we plan to offer an evening where people can witness this wealth of talent firsthand.
