On March 11th from 6:30-9:30, join social artist Barb Danielewski in transforming the sanctuary of a church into a collective dream studio that is equally perfect for introverts, extroverts, date night, families, and roomies who don’t want to clean the living room table off before they make art. Work at your own pace with 3 hrs of studio time, with a professional artist rotating consistently through the stations to inspire, support, and cheer you on. Beginners and expert screenprinters welcome!FAQs:Q: What do I need to bring?A: Upgrade your tshirts, pillowcases, sheets, fabric, or tea towels. You can expect to make anywhere from 5-20 items, depending on how chill you want your experience to be. Unlimited fabric is provided.Q: What should I expect at the event?A: Set up at 6:00 if you&#x27;re a keener and want to help/poke around before we start. Demo at 6:30ish. Drop in style after that - catch up anytime if you need to finish work before arriving. We&#x27;ll collectively clean up at 9:00-9:15ish so your stuff has time to dry before you take it home. I&#x27;ll kick you all out at 9:45 after we polish off the last of the snacks so we can go to bed at a reasonable hour. But you can leave whenever you like :)Q: Can I print my own drawings or sayings? A: I am providing a wide array of screens from my personal collection for you to use. Silly screens with space and sea creatures, peace-themed words, well loved activist screens for patches, playful patterns, plus any collaborations I have worked on with mentees, friends, and community organizations. And/or you can order a custom screen of anything you like 2 weeks before the event for $80. DM me for details.Q: How much is it to attend? A: $50-$90 sliding scale. Please choose a price that feels generous to you. If ~5 people pay full price (or close to it), 2 PWYC spots become availableA $20 deposit through eventbrite will hold your space.
