The Stretch Space

Roll it out. Stretch it out. Breathe it out. 
Join Carolyn Schmidt from The Stretch Space in an intimate small group class focusing on self care bodywork you can do at home. This class will teach simple breathing techniques, stretches and self myofascial release using rollers and balls of different textures. Perfect for unwinding after a stressful day or a tough workout session. 
Class is $25 each. Advance sign up is recommended although drop-ins will be allowed at the door if space permits.
 
About the Instructor: 
Carolyn Schmidt is a movement professional based in Vancouver. She is a certified Fascial Stretch Therapist and has a lifetime of dance experience. Carolyn completed her professional dance training at The Ailey School in NYC and has worked as a dancer, choreographer and producer of contemporary dance in the USA and Canada. She is active as an educator of contemporary dance and her choreography has won many awards. Carolyn has extensive training in Yoga, Pilates, Alexander Technique and a contemporary movement system called Countertechnique. Carolyn uses all of her past experiences and education to help her clients and students become more proficent and joyful movers.
