About Villa CharitiesA registered charity, Villa Charities enriches lives through experiences and services that honour Italian culture and heritage. Di Poce Centre; Italian Canadian Benevolent Seniors Apartments Corporation/Casa Abruzzo Benevolent Corporation with apartments for independent seniors (Caboto Terrace, Casa Del Zotto and Casa Abruzzo); and Leonardo Da Vinci Academy. Coro San Marco performs a concert of iconic music from beloved films, with scenes projected during the performance.

Joseph D. Carrier Art Gallery, Columbus Centre

Under the direction of Artistic Director Daniele Colle, Coro San Marco returns with a captivating new program celebrating music from the movies. Serenata Cinematica! features timeless film themes by acclaimed composers Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, John Williams and many others, brought to life by the choir and soloists while movie scenes are projected as a backdrop to the performances. The choir will be accompanied by pianist Adolfo De Santis and violinist Carina Sandejas.During the concert, Coro San Marco will award scholarships to young musicians who will pursue their music studies at a Canadian university.
