E﻿lectric Vehicles are a common topic of contemporary conversation. However, usually the vehicles under consideration are new. What if one were to convert a classic automobile?Join the SES for a presentation by Myles Wright showing the conversion of a gas Dodge D-150 to electric during the pandemic. I will show you what I have learned about electric vehicles from my experience, through driving a few other electric vehicle brands, and talking with other electric vehicle owners at SaskEV car meets every few months. The main highlight is on why electric vehicles emit less CO2 equivalent over their lifetime, in comparison to existing gas cars.

I am an Electrical Engineering Co-op Student currently working at a Potash mine. I grew up near Vanscoy, SK on a grain farm. In my spare time I play guitar, alto-saxophone, and clarinet. Often, I would be focused playing Gran Turismo 4 as I have a huge love for racing. As a kid I loved driving farm equipment, playing with my dog, and mountain biking in Saskatoon. My passion is educating others on ways to emit less CO2 equivalent—proving what is possible by actively doing.
