CAFTCAD (the Canadian Alliance of Film and Television Costume Arts and Design) is pleased to present Sewing 101, a hands-on introduction to the essential sewing skills used in costume departments. Whether you're new to sewing or looking to build your confidence, this class covers the fundamentals of both hand and machine sewing while guiding you through the creation of your own tote bag to take home.

Led by award-winning costume designer and haute-couture trained seamstress Jennifer Stroud, alongside assistant designer Jasmine Murray-Bergquist, this engaging workshop offers practical instruction, industry insight, and a welcoming environment to develop valuable skills for film and television costume work.
