[CANCELLED] SGPS Does Forest Therapy
November 4-8 is THRIVE Week at Queen’s, a week dedicated to mental health on campus.
Inspired by this initiative, the SGPS is offering a reduced rate for students who would like to experience Forest Therapy, which is inspired by the Japanese practice of “Shinrin-Yoku,” or “forest bathing.”
Forest Therapy seeks to renew our relationship with nature for the benefit of the environment.
We are fortunate to have Stana Luxford-Oddie from the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority to lead us on this therapeutic walk through Lake Ontario Park.
This event requires a minimum amount of participants in order for the event to take place. Therefore, refunds will not be available for this event.
