Edmonton Shift Lab Showcase

About this Event

On Friday, October 25th at 5:00 pm, the Edmonton Shift Lab will hold our 2nd Showcase to announce the latest service prototypes designed to reduce racism at the community level. Join us and our stellar Core Team of 20 change-makers at Norquest College as we showcase 5 solutions to 5 specific examples of racism and racial discrimination that exist today in Edmonton, Alberta and across Canada.

The Edmonton Shift Lab is a joint initiative by the Edmonton Community Foundation and the Skills Society. Unique among social innovation labs in Canada, the Lab has been working towards scalable service prototypes in the anti-racism space since May 2016. These prototypes derive from a Human Centred-Design process combined with Indigenous, specifically Cree methodologies. These prototypes were developed over the last six months by an incredibly diverse team of Edmontonians from a number of different backgrounds.
