Peer support for siblings of children with disabilities or chronic illness

Family Connection Centre

Sibshop is for brothers and sisters, ages 7-14, whose siblings have Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities or chronic and/or life limiting illnesses. Siblings are provided with peer support and information around their siblings’ disability in a safe setting. A light meal is included.Join us to Meet other sibs!<ul><li>Have fun with activities and games</li><li>Talk about the good and not-so-good parts of having a sib with special needs with others who “get it”.</li><li>Explore how other brother and sisters handle sticky situations sometimes faced by brothers and sisters</li><li>Learn about the services their brothers and sister receive</li></ul>I﻿n partnership with Sibshop.
