New Auction presents "Simple Truths" by Castor Design: Science and Humanities Division

On Thursday March 21st, we are pleased to invite you to celebrate the launch of <a href="http://thenewauction.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">New Auction,</a> a new art and design initiative by Colen Colthurst (Porch Modern) and Derreck Martin (East Room). New Auction is a platform for design, culture, and exhibition that honours well-made, tactile, and genuine objects. Uncommon works. Important prototypes. Simple utilitarian pieces. We celebrate the diverse and creative output of historic and contemporary art and design, from the iconic to the anonymous. The evening will feature a preview of our inaugural exhibition, "Simple Truths" by Castor Design: Humanities division. This projects investigates foundational scientific principles and applies them to designed objects. At its core, the body of work presents universal truths in a simple, elegant way. The presentation will include a performance by Mothership (a Led Zeppelin experience) and compliments from our sponsors at Campari and Ace Hill Beer. This is a 19+ event. Doors open at 10PM! *Early bird ticket sales end February 28th, 2019.There will be NO tickets at the door.
