Toronto Botanical Garden connects people to plants and inspires us to live in harmony with nature. Our gardens conveniently located in mid-Toronto are open daily from dawn until dusk, and admission is free. The gardens seemlessly connect with Edwards Gardens, Wilket Creek and the Don Valley Ravine. We also offer year-round learning opportunities for all ages both inperson and online.

Skull sketching using real animal skulls; nature drawing at its creepiest!

Please join us for a fun and spooky afternoon of drawing skulls! In this workshop you’ll learn a variety of artist techniques for drawing a life size skull. To commemorate the time of year, we’ll have a tasty, beautiful treat for you made by a local baker, @lmackiescakes. All art materials are included, just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm!Sunday, October 29, from 1 to 4 p.m.Registration: Public $75, Members $65 (plus applicable taxes and fees)Registration Deadline: Friday, October 27, noonAbout Alan LiAlan Li is an artist focused on nature. He supports conservation efforts through the sale of his artwork and is active in volunteering. Alan believes drawing can open people’s eyes to the planet’s diversity and show them that it matters. Alan grew up near the Niagara Escarpment and spent much of his childhood exploring the cliffs and forests. Those early encounters with nature have influenced both the direction of his life and the choice of subjects for his art.
